This prestigious award, presented by the American Peptide Society, recognises outstanding achievements in peptide research at mid-career. It was named in honour of Nobel Prize winning biochemist Vincent du Vigneaud (1901 – 1978), who was known for his pioneering work with sulphur compounds and peptides.
Professor Woolfson will receive his award along with fellow winner Professor Ashraf Brik of Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, during a special session at the 29th American Peptide Symposium and 15th International Peptide Symposium in San Diego in June 2025.
