A welcoming global community
The Global Lounge, located at the heart of campus, is a welcoming cultural hub where students from around the world can meet, relax, and take part in activities that celebrate different cultures and perspectives. It also runs a welcome programme each semester to help you settle into life in Bristol and learn more about British culture.
Led by students, for students, Bristol SU is home to 300 student societies and 60 sports clubs for you to get involved in, with opportunities ranging from music and dance to politics, food and drink. Bristol SU also organises events throughout the year to help you build your community. Karaoke, craft workshops, and trips to other UK sites and cities are just some of what you can look forward to.
Dedicated academic and careers support
Studying abroad is a valuable opportunity to develop skills and experience that can enhance both your academic journey and future career. To help you make the most of your time at Bristol, you have the option to participate in the prestigious Bristol PLUS employability award.
You will also have access to careers workshops designed to help you identify and communicate the skills you gain during your time abroad. Alongside this, our Study skills service provides support to help you in your classes, with resources and sessions both in-person and online.
