Peaceable CIC
Amid rising polarisation and digitally amplified conflict, the need for innovative approaches to peacebuilding has never been greater. Peaceable CIC is closing this gap by developing human-centred PeaceTech tools and collaborative spaces that empower communities, institutions and practitioners to transform conflict and build resilience both online and offline.
Rising polarisation, mistrust and digitally amplified conflict are eroding social cohesion globally. Existing peacebuilding approaches are fragmented, under-resourced and often disconnected from technology and creative practice. There is a critical gap in scalable, emotionally intelligent tools and shared spaces that equip communities, institutions and practitioners to respond to conflict collaboratively and sustainably.
Peaceable CIC develops and disseminates human-centred PeaceTech tools, programmes and collaboration spaces that support conflict transformation and socially resilient environments on and offline. Building on five years as the Interdisciplinary PeaceTech Network, Peaceable brings together peacebuilders, educators, artists, technologists and civic actors to co-create emotionally intelligent digital resources and learning experiences. These include tailored facilitation, training, online membership communities and a developing suite of licensed arts-based tools that support empathy-building, dialogue and cooperative system design. By bridging peacebuilding, technology and financial sectors, Peaceable also advances the wider business case for PeaceTech as essential social infrastructure. The goal is not only to reduce conflict but to normalise “peace-ability” as a core capability for individuals, organisations, communities and digital systems through building connection.
