Evidence to Impact

Evidence to Impact connects academic research with practical application, collaborating across the research cycle to uncover barriers to adoption and chart pathways to market.

Academics need to demonstrate how they will create and maximise real-world impact at scale from successful research projects, often requiring skills and experience they either lack or have little capacity for developing.

Evidence to Impact bridges the gap between research and real-world impact by working with academics across the research cycle to identify barriers to uptake and explore routes to market.

Evidence to Impact support in a variety of ways, including as an industry partner, written into bids from the outset, to project managing elements of a study, providing consultancy, carrying out market analysis and business planning.

They can package research by potentially enhancing materials, creating training and quality assurance frameworks to maintain research fidelity, removing barriers to uptake, maximising appeal to end users, or taking a finished piece of research to market in the UK and overseas.

As an Entrepreneur in Residence, working alongside mentees, Evidence to Impact uses a toolkit of templates, including strategic and business planning, pricing, budgeting and marketing. They provide a listening ear and reflect with academics on their own preferences and level of commitment to the various options open to them.
