About the Circ Agri Hub
The Circular Agriculture Hub is the vision of academics at the University of Bristol and University of Nottingham. The team has developed the concept of a digital hub which connects farmers and their unused produce quickly and easily with alternative consumers, including local markets, social supermarkets and foodbanks. The farmer is placed at the centre of the Hub design, providing a new commercial opportunity for farms to reclaim some of the estimated £1.8bn of lost value annually from unused farm produce and providing vital and affordable food to local communities.
