• Research Partnerships & Engagement Associate - Jim Evans

  Jim joined the Jean Golding Institute in September 2025 where he works alongside two Turing Academic Liaisons to link research activity at The University of Bristol with the objectives of the Alan Turing Institute. Through managing the partnership with The Turning, running events, and engaging with other institutions in the Turing University Network, Jim aims to establish Bristol’s involvement and encourage partnership working in the data science and AI communities. Jim supports staff and students in engagement with Turning activity and promotes events and other opportunities to internal and external networks. Jim has worked at Bristol for over 8 years in various research and education administration roles. Prior to the JGI Jim was the Project Manager for three projects in the Bristol Composites Institute.
