Research across the BBI is underpinned by cutting edge facilities and expert technical staff. Our facilities include:

• BioSuite

  The BioSuite is a custom-built facility for microbial cell culture, protein production and characterisation.
• Genomics Facility

  The facility provides expertise and access to the latest genomics and transcriptomics technologies.
• High Performance Computing

  The University of Bristol has some of the fastest and most advanced supercomputing facilities in the UK.
• Microfluidics Fabrication Facility

  Located in the University Cleanroom in the School of Physics.
• NMR Facility

  Equipped with 12 solution-state NMR spectrometers (300-700MHz).
• Wolfson BioImaging Facility

  A unique fully-integrated suite of electron, confocal and epifluorescence microscopes.
