Postgraduate research
Postgraduate training in the School of Biochemistry and Biomedical Sciences is organised through the Faculty of Life Sciences Graduate School.
Our postgraduate programmes cover a wide range of modern molecular life sciences, from atomic-level analyses of biological structures and the dynamics of DNA and proteins, through to the study and imaging of living cells, tissues and whole organisms.
The School is well equipped to support basic and translational research across areas including biochemistry, molecular biology, molecular genetics, cancer biology, immunology, virology, microbiology, stem cell biology and regenerative medicine.
