Demand for parking in Bristol is very high, and the University Precinct has a limited number of car parking spaces. Parking spaces on University of Bristol land are managed by a University parking permit system, and on-street spaces on the public highway are subject to Resident Parking Schemes managed by Bristol City Council.
You can rent-a-space through JustPark, Parklet and Yourparkingspace. These companies utilise parking spaces on people's driveways, in hotels and at private car parks. Another option is to look on sites such as Gumtree. There is also a public multi-storey car park on Trenchard Street, off Park Row.
If you have a driveway locally you could investigate if one of these companies might list your parking space on their site too. Companies such as JustPark and Yourparkingspace claim that home-owners in the area can make up to £1,000 a year.
The University accepts no responsibility for the JustPark, Parklet and Yourparkingspace sites. Please note that you join and participate in these schemes at your own risk.
