Diversity at Bristol

The University of Bristol is more diverse than ever before.

The key statistics are as follows:

  • In the last five years there has been a 90% increase in the University’s intake from students attending the lowest performing schools.
  • In the past four years there has been a 56% increase in the University’s undergraduate intake from Black and Minority Ethnic groups.
  • The University had the largest increase in state school intake in the Russell Group in 2016.
  • There has been a 40% increase in home undergraduate student numbers in the last six years.
