When to apply

Many of our programmes have fixed deadlines. Please check the application deadline for the programme you are applying to, as closing dates vary.

We encourage you to submit your application as early as possible and to include all the supporting documents requested as part of the application process. Providing a complete application will help us to consider your application without unnecessary delays.

If information or documents are missing, we may contact you to request these. However, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to request or consider additional information, particularly where an application is submitted close to the application deadline. You should therefore make every effort to submit a complete application by the relevant deadline.

Taught programmes

The application system is now open. Please check the individual programme pages for application deadlines.

Changes to application deadlines and early closure

We welcome applications that fulfil our admissions criteria to select a balanced international student cohort. As students from different countries tend to apply at different points in the application period, applications from some countries may close earlier in the year.

Research programmes

Research programmes can start throughout the year and we usually accept applications at any time. However, funded programmes are likely to have deadlines, so please check specific programme entries for details.

Applying before you have final grades/certificate

If you haven't graduated or received your final grades or certificate, you are still welcome to apply. Please provide transcripts to date, as well as your other supporting documents, which you will be prompted to upload as part of the online application process.

Re-applying

If you have applied to a programme and were unsuccessful, you will need to wait until the next application cycle to reapply for the same programme.

You can apply for a different programme in the current application cycle. Before applying, check the programme page carefully to make sure you meet the entry requirements.

If you have successfully requested deferred entry, you do not need to submit a new application.
