Community

We currently have approximately 500 juniors, students and adults on coaching courses each week (July 2017) and in September we will be launching new programmes for juniors, students and adults, creating 300+ new places on courses. We will also be bringing the price down to make the sport more affordable and accessible. Tennis price list (PDF, 996kB)

Facilities

We have more tennis courts than most universities in the UK, with four indoor and 10 outdoor courts at our Coombe Dingle Sports Complex site, and a further 14 outdoor courts located within University of Bristol residences across the city.

Students

The city of Bristol was recently voted the best place to live in the UK and it is also home to a University which consistently ranks in the world's top 100 and UK's top ten universities in league tables. We now have a tennis programme that is competitive with the other top universities in the UK.

Student tennis is powered by students, for students, and supported by a team of dedicated staff and coaches. The University of Bristol Tennis Club is one of the largest students clubs in the South of England with approximately 190 members. In 2017/18 the UBTC committee will be led by Club Captain Eloise Sarre and supported by University Tennis Co-ordinator Lowri James and University Tennis Ambassador Olivia Rutherford.
