LLM Banking and Finance Law
This programme considers the law and regulation of banking and finance, with the opportunity to examine wide-ranging questions concerning the impact of law, regulation, policy and practice.
LLM Commercial Law
This intensive study programme enables you to engage in commercial and industrial topics, with the opportunity to concentrate on European commercial issues, international trade or aspects of domestic commerce.

LLM Environment, Sustainability and Business Law
This course offers in-depth, intensive study of law and regulation that can help tackle the environmental and sustainability challenges facing businesses, governments and not-for-profit organisations, as well as influence the relationships between business actors and their shareholders and stakeholders.
LLM General Legal Studies
This programme enables you to specialise in a particular area, or, opt for a broader, more general set of units. You’ll consider relevant issues theoretically and practically from various perspectives.
LLM Health, Law and Society
This programme examines how to approach some of the greatest challenges and opportunities for law, policy and social norms as mechanisms to address health and wellbeing.
LLM Human Rights Law

This programme offers a range of units for students planning to specialise in employment and company law. It examines labour law and corporate governance from an economic and socio-political perspective.
LLM Law and Globalisation
This programme examines the international legal framework, trade, employment and human rights, from both a practical and a theoretical standpoint, exploring these issues from both an economic and socio-political perspective.
LLM Law, Innovation and Technology
Offering in-depth, intensive study in a range of areas, you will gain expertise in IT law, IP law, privacy and data protection, e-commerce and online business development, digital markets and virtual competition, and digital technology in legal practice.
LLM Public Law
This programme explores issues in public policy and law, focusing on the relationship between pressures from areas of public policy, and the role of law in setting decision-making framework.
A two-year Masters law degree, suitable for graduates of any discipline.
MSc Socio-Legal Studies
A one-year, disciplinary Masters degree into the study of law and legal phenomena, suitable for graduates from a wide range of disciplines (including the Arts, Social Sciences and Law) who have an interest in the way law works in society. If a student is awarded ESRC funding, they have the opportunity to further their studies into a PhD.
MRes Sustainable Futures
This course presents an exciting opportunity to specialise in a field of research that tackles one of the most important questions facing society today - how human wellbeing can be maintained and enhanced into the future given rising populations, limited natural resources and a fragile environment.
