• Centre for Health, Law, and Society
  The Centre for Health, Law, and Society promotes trans-disciplinary and cross-sector perspectives on the impacts of law and governance on physical, mental, and social well-being.
• Human Rights Implementation Centre
  The Centre, based in the Law School, provides an international focus for developing expertise, advice and scholarship on the role of institutions, whether those are at the national, regional or international levels, in the implementation of human rights.
• Centre for Private and Commercial Law
  The Centre for Private and Commercial Law, based in the Law School, is an international centre of excellence for critical scholarship, teaching and public engagement with private and commercial law.

  The Centre for Law at Work establishes Bristol as a centre of excellence in the study of law at work. Supported by world-leading academics, the Centre embraces a wide range of methodological approaches and a collaborative research and teaching environment.

  The Centre for Law and History Research highlights the need for historical perspectives in legal scholarship and promotes excellent research into the varied histories of law.
