Centre for Law at Work
Pushing the boundaries of labour and work law
The Centre for Law at Work establishes Bristol as a centre of excellence in the study of related fields. Supported by world-leading academics, the Centre embraces a wide range of methodological approaches and a collaborative research and teaching environment.
The Centre works with organisations responsible for policy-development, professional regulation and social advocacy to influence policy at national, transnational and global levels.
Our scholars produce research that pushes the boundaries of law related to work, working theoretically to redefine the field and practically to influence law and policy from the ground up.
The Centre is home to a world-leading group of academics working in the field of labour law and work law - a critical mass of scholars that create a rich and diverse research culture.
Our students tackle wide-ranging questions concerning the impacts of law and work with courses that open up career opportunities in a multitude of related sectors.
