Potions and Prosecution

29 July 2016

Dr. Gwen Seabourne, Reader in Legal History at the University of Bristol Law School, was interviewed on ITV Wales last night in a programme on the National Eisteddfod in Abergavenny

Dr. Seabourne talks about the Suffragette incidents that ocurred the last time the National Eisteddfod was held in Abergavenny in 1913. This follows on from her recent blog post on the University of Bristol Law School Blog, in which she focuses on the intriguing case of Isabella Plomet in Herefordshire in the 13th century, and her successful legal victory.

Dr. Seabourne has been particularly busy with media appearances recently, having also been interviewed by BBC Wales.
