The Unite Foundation Scholarships

The University of Bristol is delighted to be working with the Unite Foundation supporting students who have previously been in care or are estranged from their parents.

Who should apply?

In 20/21, students meeting the criteria of care leaver OR estranged from family who are:

  • aged 25 or under on 1 September 2020,
  • undertaking first and only course of undergraduate study,
  • studying at, or holding a firm choice offer from, a Unite Foundation University,
  • UK home fee status student, i.e. not an international student AND
  • in receipt of, or applying for, student finance specific to care leaver/care experienced/estranged students.

What is it?

The scholarship provides recipients with free en suite accommodation in Unite House or Orchard Heights for three years of undergraduate study.

How do I apply?

  • The 2019 entry application has closed. The application will re-open in January 2020, for students who are looking to apply for the 2020/21 academic year.
