Our facilities

We are home to state-of-the-art laboratories which can:

  • simulate temperature and pressure conditions at hundreds of kilometres deep within our planet
  • recreate conditions in ancient oceans and atmospheres
  • enable us to understand the cycling of carbon in the environment
  • help us investigate the evolution of life on Earth
