Introduction
Colston Street was acquired by the University in 2009 and, after undergoing a total refurbishment, opened as a University of Bristol residence in October 2011. It offers self-catered accommodation in the heart of the city, less than 15 minutes walk from the University Precinct.
Living at Colston Street
All residents automatically become members of Orbital, a student society which exists to bring together and support first year students. Orbital organises social and sporting events, throughout the year, as well as a lively fresher week schedule.
Students living at Colston Street have easy access to all the entertainment, shopping and nightlife Bristol has to offer. Within the house residents are also able to enjoy a large common room ideal for for socialising, studying and relaxing.
The property has 3 live-in senior residents providing support and guidance whenever it is needed.

Colston Street offers 118 self catered, study bedrooms in large flats with a good size kitchen diner at the centre of each, providing a focal point for you and your flat mates. There are 106 en suite rooms with their own shower, basin and toilet and a further 12 standard rooms.
