The majority of rooms in postgraduate residences will be for new postgraduates only. However, the Accommodation Office will consider applications from students with health or other needs. Applications can be made online between 18 January and 17 February 2012. You will also need to email your supporting medical/other evidence to accom-office@bristol.ac.uk.
The online application is now closed.
Most students will live in private rented houses or flats after their first year. There is a good supply of property to let to students in Bristol.
Our private rented sector web pages provide information about all aspects of renting as well as listing accommodation vacancies. Vacancies are added on a daily basis so keep checking if you don't find what you're looking for straight away.
You can use the Property Search to look for accommodation advertised by landlords. The properties here range from rooms in a landlords house, rooms for one sharing with other students already living in a property, smaller flats to large, shared houses for eight or more students.
The student Bulletin Board is a place where students who have already found a property but have a room available can put a notice up or if you are looking to share with other students you can put an advert on.
When you have found a property we will be happy to look over your contract with you. If you do run into any difficulties during your tenancy we have trained advisors who can help you to sort out any problems. Use the Advice Form to contact us.
