The Veterinary Pathology unit is part of the Bristol Veterinary School. The members of staff teach pathology-related topics and skills to undergraduate and postgraduate students at the veterinary school. This includes teaching on the BVSc/AGEP and Veterinary Nurse degree programmes. It also includes teaching postgraduate students on the Global Wildlife Health and Conservation MSc, and interns and residents training in the School.
The Veterinary Pathology Unit provides histopathological services for research and teaching. Our pathologists also provide diagnostic histopathology and post mortem expertise for Langford Vets. Academic pathologists and laboratory technicians collaborate closely with a wide range of research groups both in Bristol Veterinary School and across the University and other organisations.
