Can I join?

We are asking people aged over 3 years who have Type 1 Diabetes and live in Bristol (BS postcodes) to take part in our study.

What will the study involve?

If you agree to participate in the study, you will be expected to take part in the steps below.

Consent

To take part in T1D-DAB, please click here to complete the online consent form to give your permission for you (or your child) to take part in the study.

One-off sample collections

To collect the following samples (at home):

Mouthswab
Saliva
Urine
Finger-prick blood

Questionnaires

To complete questionnaires about your or (your child’s) treatment for Type 1 Diabetes.
The questionnaires will also be based on your (or your child’s) age, gender and medical history.

Data collection

We will collect data about your (or your child's) Type 1 Diabetes. This will be collected from your (or their) medical notes.
