Getting to Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus

TQEC will be open from 8 September 2026. It's close to Bristol city centre and is well connected by a range of transport options. You are responsible for funding your own travel to TQEC and other University locations. 

Train

Our new campus is directly connected to the new station entrance at Bristol Temple Meads. Regular trains run between Temple Meads and Clifton Down, which is a 10–15‑minute walk from the Clifton Campus. Students can access discounted fares with a 16–25 Railcard (also available for mature students in full-time education).

Bus

Several bus routes serve the area around TQEC and between campuses. From the end of August 2026, the First Bus No. 8 service will be extended to stop at a new bus stop beside TQEC, with three extra buses increasing frequency to every 8–10 minutes and a fully electric fleet. You may be able to get help with the cost of a First Bus travel pass if you receive certain bursaries or financial support from us.

TQEC is also convenient for park‑and‑ride connections.

Walking

Walking from the Clifton Campus to TQEC takes about 35-40 minutes. Walking into the city centre or Bristol's harbourside takes around 15 mins.

Cycling

Cycling from the Clifton Campus to TQEC takes 15–20 minutes. Indoor and outdoor cycle parking is available.

E scooters

There will be accessible e‑scooter availability near the campus provided by Dott. Please note the University doesn’t accept responsibility for the use of the scooters and riders must assess the risks and follow the safety information provided by Dott.

Privately owned e‑scooters cannot be used or parked.

Car

TQEC is a pedestrianised campus, with no general parking. Parking spaces at the campus are available for Blue Badge holders and essential operational vehicles only. Find out more about Blue Badge parking at TQEC.
