What to expect at your Philosophy offer holder event

Once you have received an offer to study at the University of Bristol, you will receive your email invitation to attend an offer holder event.

We have planned the day to provide you with a taste of studying your subject at Bristol as well as insights into making the most of student life here.

This event is for offer holders for the following courses:

Philosophy (BA)

Saturday 14 March 2026

10:15 am - 10:30 am

Registration

10:30 am - 11 am

Introduction to Philosophy at Bristol

You will have the opportunity to hear a staff member talk about the Philosophy department and the different course structures.

11 am - 11:45 am

Taster Lecture

A staff member will present a taster lecture on a topic from the Philosophy syllabus.

12 pm - 12:45 pm

Question and Answer Session

You will have the opportunity to ask questions about studying Philosophy in Bristol of current students and staff.
