What to expect at your Music with Innovation Offer Holder Event

Once you have received an offer to study at the University of Bristol, you will receive your email invitation to attend an offer holder event.

We have planned the day to provide you with a taste of studying your subject at Bristol as well as insights into making the most of student life here.

This event is for offer holders for the following courses:

  • Music with Innovation (MArts)

11:30 am - 11:45 am 

Innovation Registration 

11:45 am - 1 pm 

Innovation Lunch & Networking 

Your opportunity to meet with Innovation staff and existing students to discuss the Innovation programme. 

You will have time here to have a break and then make your way over to the next part of your day. 

2:15 pm - 2:30 pm 

Music Registration 

A warm welcome to the Department of Music, where you will be greeted by our Academic staff and student ambassadors with the information you need for your day. 

2:30 pm - 2:50 pm

Welcome and Music Programme Talk  

A welcome from our head of department (Prof Emma Hornby) followed by an introduction to Music at the University of Bristol from our admissions officer Prof John Pickard. We will explain what to expect from teaching and learning, and the student experience at Bristol.

2:50 pm - 3:20 pm

Tours  

Tours of our building and facilities with staff and student ambassadors. 

3:20 pm - 4:30 pm

Meet the Team! 

Applicants and their guests can chat with staff and student ambassadors over tea and coffee. We will have different stands available, each with specialist staff and students, ready to answer all your questions and to talk to you about your Music degree at Bristol.

9:45 am - 10 am
