What to expect at your Engineering Mathematics offer holder event
Once you have received an offer to study at the University of Bristol, you will receive your email invitation to attend an offer holder event.
We have planned the day to provide you with a taste of studying your subject at Bristol as well as insights into making the most of student life here.
This event is for offer holders for the following courses:
- Engineering Mathematics (BEng)
- Engineering Mathematics (MEng)
- Engineering Mathematics with study abroad (MEng)
1:15 pm - 1:30 pm
Registration
A warm welcome to Engineering Maths, where you will be greeted by our Academic staff and student ambassadors with the information you need for your day.
1:30 pm - 2 pm
Introduction to Engineering Maths
A course talk, where we will outline what you can expect from your experience in the Department.
2 pm - 3 pm
Taster Workshop
Join a taster workshop where you'll experience how students are taught on our programme. During this workshop, parents are invited to attend a networking activity.
3 pm - 3:30 pm
Tour of Facilities
We will show you around the facilities used by students in the Department of Engineering Maths.
3:30 pm - 4 pm
Student Presentation and Networking
Our students will talk to you about their experience at the University of Bristol. This is a chance for you to network with current students and other prospective students.
