What to expect at your Electrical and Electronic Engineering offer holder event
Once you have received an offer to study at the University of Bristol, you will receive your email invitation to attend an offer holder event.
We have planned the day to provide you with a taste of studying your subject at Bristol as well as insights into making the most of student life here.
This event is for offer holders for the following courses:
- Electrical and Electronic Engineering (BEng)
- Electrical and Electronic Engineering (MEng)
- Electrical and Electronic Engineering with Study Abroad in a Modern Language (MEng)
Wednesday 15 April
1 pm - 1:15 pm
Registration
A warm welcome to Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, where you will be greeted by our Academic staff and student ambassadors with the information you need for your day.
1:15 pm - 1:45 pm
Course Presentation and Q&A
A presentation about Mechanical and Electrical Engineering/Electrical and Electronic Engineering from our Programme Directors.
2 pm - 3:30 pm
Lab taster activity (students only) One group taster activity
Lab activity in the Main EE Lab in Queens Building. A chance to get to know our facilities and chat about student life with current students.
(Parents/guests) to go to Parents talk and then to be escorted to Senate house for networking session.
2:50 pm - 3:30 pm
Electrical & Electronic taster lecture
A taster lecture ran by academics from the Electrical & Electronic Engineering programme
3:30 pm - 4:15 pm
Networking Session
A chance for you to meet Academics and current students.
