What to expect at your Dental Therapy offer holder event
Once you have received an offer to study at the University of Bristol, you will receive your email invitation to attend an offer holder event.
We have planned the day to provide you with a taste of studying your subject at Bristol as well as insights into making the most of student life here.
This event is for offer holders for the following courses:
- BDT Dental Therapy
1:15 pm - 1:30 pm
Registration
A warm welcome to the School of Dentistry, where you will be greeted by our Academic staff and student ambassadors with the information you need for the afternoon.
1:30 pm - 2 pm
Welcome and Q&A with Dentistry Students
A talk in our lecture theatre, where you will be able to hear about our new Dental School building and ask questions of current students.
2 pm - 2:30 pm
Teaching Session 1: Anatomy Taster Activity
An interactive Taster Lecture on Anatomy so that you can experience learning and teaching as a University of Bristol student.
2:30 pm - 3 pm
Teaching Session 2: The Power and The Glory
An interactive Taster Lecture on professional Dental Practice so that you can experience learning and teaching as a University of Bristol student.
3 pm - 4:30 pm
Dentistry Clinical Skills Suite taster activity
Join a hands-on taster teaching session in our clinical skills lab.
