Once you have received an offer to study at the University of Bristol, you will receive your email invitation to attend an offer holder event.

We have planned the day to provide you with a taste of studying your subject at Bristol as well as insights into making the most of student life here.

This event is for offer holders for the following courses:

  • Civil Engineering (BEng)
  • Civil Engineering (MEng)

An introduction to the Civil Engineering course at the University of Bristol, led by the Programme Director. 

1:30 pm - 2:30 pm

Lab Tours and Taster Activities & Demonstrations

A chance to see our world-leading labs and facilities, led by current students who will explain how they have used them as part of the course.  

During the tour you will also be seeing some exciting lab-based Civil Engineering Taster Activities and Demonstrations to see what learning at Bristol is like in a practical setting.  

2:30 pm - 3:30 pm 

Networking and Q&A (chat with students and academics from the programme)

A chance for you to meet the academics and current students, ask them any questions you have and see some student projects. 

3:30 pm - 3:45 pm
