Course summary
This four-year degree is similar to BSc Neuroscience but provides you with the opportunity to gain valuable experience working in commercial or government neuroscience research during your third year. This may be in a biotech or pharmaceutical company or a research institute, in the UK or abroad.
Placements are available by applying directly to providers in a competitive process facilitated by the University.
You can apply to transfer to this course after the first year of the BSc or MSci Neuroscience degree.

You will pay a reduced fee during the year in industry / on placement.
If you are studying an undergraduate course part-time, your tuition fee will normally be calculated pro rata to the full-time fee for the course.
Fees are subject to annual review and are liable to rise each year.
Home fees will be set in line with UK government policy and updated as per their guidance, while international fees increase annually in line with expected inflation rises.
