Inspire your students with subject specific virtual workshops
During November, the University of Bristol is offering interactive, one-hour virtual workshops designed to engage and motivate students about studying at university. Led by current University of Bristol undergraduate Student Ambassadors, these sessions will give students an authentic insight into university life and the opportunities it can offer.
Throughout the workshop, students will:
- Explore what it’s really like to study different subjects at university.
- Compare courses and gain a clear understanding of the skills and experiences each one develops.
- Discover potential career paths and opportunities that could follow from each course.
- Learn how to research courses effectively using university websites.
- Hear firsthand experiences from a Student Ambassador, gaining practical tips and inspiration.
Delivered via Microsoft Teams, these sessions are fully interactive, encouraging students to ask questions, discuss ideas, and reflect on their future choices. Each workshop will take place twice so that students can find a convenient time, but students will only need to attend one. The workshops are ideal for supporting students as they consider their higher education options, helping them make informed decisions about the courses and careers that best suit their interests and strengths.
