International Child and Family Conference

As an organising partner, the Centre for Childhoods and Social Justice is delighted to announce the second International Child and Family Conference 2027.

The conference will take place at the University of Bristol, UK, from 14–16 June 2027.

Building on the University of Bristol’s internationally recognised expertise in childhood and family research, the conference will bring together academics, PhD researchers, and practitioners from across the Global North and Global South. It aims to foster critical discussion and reflection on the lives of children within their families and communities, exploring diverse perspectives, experiences, and research contexts.
