The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship Scheme (MSCA-PF) call under Horizon Europe has a deadline in September.
The Marie Sklodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships (MSCA-PF) are prestigious fellowships funded by the European Commission. The goal of the MSCA-PF scheme is to enhance the career of researchers holding a PhD wishing to acquire new skills, through advanced training, international, interdisciplinary and inter-sectoral mobility. MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships are open to excellent researchers of any nationality, including researchers wishing to reintegrate in Europe, researchers who are displaced by conflict as well as researchers with high potential aiming for a career restart in research. The scheme is open to all domains of research and also encourages researchers to explore research and innovation projects in the non-academic sector.
Eligibility criteria
Applicants must have a PhD and at the call deadline must have a maximum of 8 years full-time equivalent research experience, measured from the PhD award date. Years of experience outside of research and career breaks (e.g. due to parental leave), will not count towards the 8 years maximum experience in research. In order to comply with the mobility rule, applicants who wish to be hosted by the University of Bristol, must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in the UK (for European Postdoctoral Fellowships), for more than 12 months in the 36 months immediately before the call deadline. For Global Postdoctoral Fellowships, this rule applies to the host organisation that will host the fellow during the outgoing phase of the fellowship. The scheme is open to researchers of any nationality, however researchers going to a third country when applying for a Global Fellowship, must be nationals or long-term residents of an EU Member State or a Horizon Europe Associated Country.
Researchers who fit the eligibility criteria and would like to apply with the University of Bristol as the host organisation must have a supervisor who has agreed to support your application. Supervisors can get in touch with the EU team to discuss potential applications.

The MSCA fellowship gave me the unique opportunity to focus full-time on my research, travel to motivating meetings and workshops, and interact with the leading experts in my field. It's an experience I would recommend to anyone.
