QET Labs and the QE-CDT welcomed ~50 PhD students from across the USA, Canada and the UK to the International Summer School in Integrated Quantum Photonics (ISSIQP) from 19-26 July.
Across eight days, leading academic and industrial experts from USA, Canada and the UK provided guest lectures and assisted the Bristol team in delivering ISS:IQP structured in six themes: classical photonics, quantum photonics, computer laboratories, business, enterprise and innovation, hybrid photonics and interfaces and photonic laboratories. Attendees also presented at the poster sessions, with the prize for best poster going to Eleanor Nichols from University of Cambridge.
A huge thank you to all of the organisers, helpers and speakers at ISS:IQP. Further photos and highlights can be found on the CDT X page.
