In this study you will watch or listen to an audio-only or visual-only television episode. You will be watching The Tourist (BBC, 2022), and must not have seen any of this series before. While watching, your heart rate, skin conductance, and body movement will be recorded. This involves attaching sensors to your collarbones, lower left rib, fingers, and wrist. After watching, you will be asked several questions about how engaging you found the experience.
This study will take approximately 90 minutes, and you will be reimbursed £15 in Love2shop vouchers for your time.
Inclusion criteria
To participate, you must:
Be aged 18 or above
Have normal-corrected vision (glasses or contact lenses are both okay)
Have no hearing impairments
Have English as a first language, or an equivalent level of fluency
Have not seen any of The Tourist(BBC Television Series, 2022)
