CEM 30th Anniversary Lecture series 'What the dead can teach us about living'

Please join us for this lecture series celebrating 30 years of the Centre for Ethics in Medicine. 

Our next speaker is Dr Matt Morgan, Intensive Care Medicine Consultant at University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff who will talk about 'What the dead can teach us about living'. 

Matt Morgan is a Consultant in Intensive Care Medicine and a BMJ columnist. He is medical adviser to The National Theatre’s Nye starring Michael Sheen, BBC Radio 4’s Best Medicine, Casualty, and Channel 4’s Stepping Up. Across three books - CRITICAL, ONE MEDICINE and A SECOND ACT – he explores survival, connection and what it means to live. He has authored over 50 scientific papers after a PhD in artificial intelligence and broadcasts on BBC Radio 4, CNN and the BBC. He lectures internationally, serves on the BMJ Commission on the Future of the NHS, lives in Cardiff, and loves ice cream.
