Research interests
Currently, I am working on network and cybersecurity (particularly future network security including 6G), the role of Digital Twins (DTs) in future networks and systems security as well as Responsible AI (RAI) including fairness, trustworthiness, and explainability in AI.
Before joining UoB, I worked on Information Security and Privacy, applied cryptography, and particularly security and privacy issues in Vehicular Ad Hoc NETworks (VANETs), vehicular clouds, and vehicular social networking. I also worked on the Internet of Things, Content-Centric Networking (CCN), cloud computing, API security, and blockchain.
