



The winners of an inaugural competition to capture the essence of health and wellbeing on camera have been revealed, with staff and students at the University of Bristol exercising their photographic skills to produce some colourful and thought-provoking images.

Ultrahaptics, a novel technology developed by PhD student Tom Carter and Professor Sriram Subramanian, beat a record 75 entries to scoop the top prize in the New Enterprise Competition which was judged by a panel of industry experts.

A PhD student from the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Communications at the University of Bristol has been selected as a finalist in the UK ICT Pioneers competition.
