Bristol academics comment about the Pope's resignation

Gavin D'Costa, Professor in Catholic Theology, and George Ferzoco, a research fellow in the Department of Religion and Theology, have been interviewed by the media about the Pope's resignation.

Gavin D'Costa, Professor in Catholic Theology, and George Ferzoco, a research fellow in the Department of Religion and Theology, have been interviewed by the media about Pope Benedict's resignation.

Professor D'Costa was interviewed by the Vatican Radio News (English language section) and Philippines Catholic Radio Service (English language section) on the English views of Benedict and how he will be remembered. He has also discussed   Benedict's 'legacy' on BBC Radio Bristol's mid-morning show.

George Ferzoco was interviewed by BBC Radio Bristol's Drive and Breakfast programme; Singapore Channel News Asia and National Public Radio in America and has been quoted in a Guardian blog; The Guardian; Newsmax; The Atlantic; Canada's national weekly current affairs magazine, Maclean's; The Muslim Times; Herald Malaysia online and the New Zealand Listener.
