Abstract: Temporal computing adds the concept of time to AI, forming the foundation of contextual intelligence by enabling systems to better understand and process long-term, multi-dimensional contexts. For AI to improve its contextual intelligence, it must possess long-term memory capabilities, akin to human memory. This talk will introduce the mechanisms of human long-term memory and their mapping to existing AI approaches, with a focus on extending current cognitive architectures to enhance AI's long-term memory capabilities.
