Bristol Veterinary School's Celebration of Research

In 2024, Bristol Veterinary School will be celebrating its 75th anniversary!

To commemorate the School's research successes over the last 75 years, they are hosting a Celebration of Research on Wednesday 21st February 2024.  

The day will start with a series of talks to illustrate the extent and impact of research carried out in the School, both past and present. During the afternoon, there will be an opportunity to tour the unique research facilities that are available on the North Somerset Campus (map here) and to mingle with colleagues old and new.

Programme:

  • 10.00-13.00: Talks recounting research successes of Bristol Veterinary School researchers, collaborations and notable history
  • 13.00-14.00: lunch, research posters and demonstrations in the foyer and lunch rooms. Time for mingling, catching up, establishing new collaborations/ideas.
  • 14.00-17.00: Tours of the various Bristol Veterinary School Research facilities allowing for dialogue with researchers working in these facilities and sparking ideas about potential collaborations, culminating in the Centaur Arms for more collaborative talks, networking and socialising at the end of the day.
