Co-stitch is a city-wide research project led by the Brigstow Institute. The project brings researchers and community groups together, exploring communal stitching as a form of storytelling with a particular focus on diasporic communities who have arrived in Bristol seeking refuge

As part of the Bristol Photo Festival, artists Nilupa Yasmin and Jessa Fairbrother have each worked with the co-stitch participant groups across the city to create an exhibition "Weaving Narratives".
