De novo lanthanide enzymes - from protein dynamics to photoredox catalysis

Hosted by the School of Biochemistry

Cytoskeletal motors play a widespread role in trafficking of mRNAs in the cytoplasm. It is unclear how this process is orchestrated at the molecular level. Simon will present his group's efforts to elucidate how mRNAs are linked to microtubule motors in Drosophila and human cells, and how the movements of motors are controlled in these systems.
