A Supporting Healthy Inclusive Neighbourhood Environments Health Integration Team (SHINE HIT) event

SHINE HIT and the Centre for Public Health and Wellbeing, UWE Bristol share a mission to enable change where people live that will improve their health and wellbeing. This includes supporting liveable neighbourhoods, biodiversity and nature recovery, green social prescribing, community assets, healthy eating, and sustainability practice and policy.

This special event provides the opportunity for planners, commissioners, policy makers, providers, researcher and local authority colleagues to discuss this mission, and respond to the latest findings from the Tackling Root Causes Upstream of Unhealthy Urban Development (TRUUD) research consortium, supported by five universities, as well as other research supported locally.
