TRIAD (Towards tRranslational Inclusive Art and Design)

What do you think of Bristol public spaces? Come along to one of our events and have a go at using cutting edge Virtual Reality (VR) to share your thoughts and reactions to different designs of spaces.

This project is bringing together TRIAD (Towards tRanslational Inclusive Art and Design), BDFI (Bristol Digital Futures Institute) and We the Curious to help develop inclusive design. We’re holding a number of open events where you can use our VR goggles to experience public spaces virtually, and your reactions and responses will be used to help us understand what makes good design.

The events are being held at BDFI facilities throughout the week of 20-26 November 2023

We hope to provide an unprecedented opportunity for Bristol communities to gather insights into their own personal reactions to differently designed environments, raising awareness of the impact of design on wellbeing more generally.

We all know whether a place we are in feels comfortable and supports us in the task we want to perform. Yet, during the planning stages, it is difficult to predict how a place will be perceived by individuals once it is built, which causes a challenge for inclusive design.

Walk - ins are welcome although priority will be given to booked places.
