The event is free, including lunch and rail transport to Exeter. 

Being an early career researcher has a lot of challenges. From writing up your thesis, to getting published, compiling a winning CV, nailing interviews and writing successful grant applications, there is a lot to get right. This year's ARUK South West Network Centre Early Career Researcher conference is focussed on supporting early career researchers develop and hone their skills in these often challenging areas.

Lined up are guest speakers covering topics including reproducibility and research integrity, breakout sessions on CV writing and interview techniques, grant writing, writing up your thesis, getting published and a fellowship and careers workshop. There is the opportunity to present your research at the lightning talks and poster sessions, with prizes for the best presentations kindly donated by Proteintech.

Audience
Early career dementia researchers (e.g. postgraduate students, postdocs and early career fellows) who are affiliated with the Universities of Bath, Bristol, Exeter, Plymouth or West of England.
