Exhibition space
The new Exhibition Gallery is the first dedicated space in ASSL designed to showcase highlights from our accredited Cultural Collections and it will be a dynamic and inspiring space. We aim for it to be welcoming and inclusive for students, staff, and the public to share knowledge and expertise as part of our university’s commitment to civic engagement.
Our first exhibition will open early in 2026, and we will be developing our programme with you! Drop in to our gallery for an opportunity to let us know what you want to see in this space.
Look out for drop in activities starting soon!
Creative lab
The Creative Lab is a space to explore creative technologies, like extended and virtual reality, 3D scanning, games design, videography or podcasting. If you want to know more, book on to one of the regular induction sessions, and then enjoy self-directed workshop time.
Library Support
The Library Support Office is in a new location, past the Enquiry Hub on the left. If you have a booked appointment you can go directly there for your session.
From Monday 17 November Library Support are also re-starting their drop-in appointments in this office, Monday to Friday from 1 to 3pm during term time.
A new low distraction study space will open soon, next to the office.
