Past Event: Workshop on Mission-led Business
On 22 November 2017, the Law School, in collaboration with leading social enterprise law firm Bates Wells Braithwaite LLP, hosted the public workshop 'Mission-led Business: Towards responsible capitalism?'. The workshop’s aim was to strengthen our understanding of initiatives to formulate an agenda for purposeful or mission-led businesses in the UK that will shape a more responsible capitalism, whether as certified B Corps or other corporate formats and practices. Together with a panel of specialists in this field, participants considered the character of mission-led business, its possibilities and challenges.
