Achilles Skordas participates in a Conference on the second generation of legislative acts of the European asylum system, organized by the Odysseus Network for Immigration and Asylum Law with the collaboration of the Global Migration Centre of the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva. The Conference will take place at the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB) on 8-9 April. Achilles will discuss the temporary protection of Syrian refugees by the UK and Germany, granted by provisions of municipal law outside the framework of the 2001 Temporary Protection Directive of the European Union.
