Student opportunities

The University of Bristol offers 3- and 4- year Law degrees. Our foundation and optional units reflect the wide variety of approaches to legal research adopted by scholars in the Law School.  Units such as Employment Law, Issues in Corporate Governance, Rich Law, Poor Law, and Clinical Legal Studies may interest those passionate about law at work. 

The Law School has a number of programmes relevant to the Centre for Law at Work. These courses include the LLM in General Legal Studies, in Company Law and Corporate Governance and in Human Rights Law, as well as the MSc in Social Legal Studies. Members of the Centre contribute to teaching units including Individual Employment Rights, Corporate Governance in a Global Context, and  Workers, Unions and Collective Labour Rights. 

A number of excellent PhD and post-doctoral projects have been completed by members of the Centre. Members of the Centre are always happy to hear from researchers who would like to work with us during their postgraduate study on any topic related to the law and governance of work and workplaces.
